International Youth Games Lancaster 2027 will bring young people together through sport, friendship, culture and international exchange.
To make the Games possible, we need support from individuals, families, local businesses, community groups, clubs and organisations across Lancaster District and beyond.
Supporting Lancaster 2027 can mean giving money, offering services, providing equipment, volunteering time, helping with venues, transport, printing, food, publicity, or simply helping us connect with the right people.
Individuals, families and supporters can make a small contribution through our Friends of the Games scheme and help young people take part in an international event built around sport, friendship and culture.
Local businesses and organisations can support Lancaster 2027 through sponsorship, donations, services, equipment or in-kind support. Every contribution helps reduce costs and strengthen the event.
We will need help with volunteers, transport, printing, venues, food, publicity, photography, translation, community links and event support. Practical help can be just as valuable as financial support.
Support helps reduce costs for young people, families, teams and volunteers, making it easier for more people to be involved in Lancaster 2027.
Support also helps with the practical costs of welcoming visiting teams, running venues, organising events and creating a positive experience for everyone involved.
We are currently seeking support towards the key costs of hosting Lancaster 2027 and making the Games accessible, welcoming and well organised.
Support can help with participant costs, team kit, sports equipment, medals and making sure young people can take part regardless of background.
Support can help with sports venues, ceremonies, event materials, programmes, signage, insurance and the practical costs of running the Games safely.
Support can help with local transport, welcoming visiting teams, supporting leaders and volunteers, and creating a positive experience for everyone involved.
There are several ways to support Lancaster 2027, whether you are an individual supporter, a local business, a community organisation, a school, a club, or someone who can offer practical help.
You can support the Games by becoming a Friend of the Games, asking about sponsorship opportunities, offering practical support, or getting in touch to discuss how you could help.
We are grateful for every person, business, club and organisation that helps make Lancaster 2027 possible.
Supporters may be thanked through our website, social media, event materials or other Lancaster 2027 communications, depending on the type of support given and only where public recognition is appropriate.
We will always respect whether supporters wish to be recognised publicly or remain private.
Public recognition will only be used where permission has been given.
Whether you would like to make a donation, sponsor part of the Games, offer practical help, or simply start a conversation, we would love to hear from you.
Your support can help Lancaster give young people a safe, welcoming and memorable international experience in 2027.
